Education And More is a Christian charitable organization dedicated to helping educate children of the Lake Atitlan area of Guatemala and to reducing poverty in the communities by helping artisan groups obtain Fair Trade prices for their handcrafts.

Handcrafts are presented on our website from our artisan groups and each time you choose to purchase a handcraft you can be assured the artisan has received a Fair Trade wage for their work. The sale of Fair Trade handcrafts has a ripple effect in the lives of the artisans and communities. It gives a much needed fair wage income to the artist which in turn gives them the ability to care for their families with the basic necessities of life -- food, health care, education. Next it brings more income to the community as the artisan purchases food and other daily needs. Your purchases are enriching the lives of so many!

Host an 'Artisan Market' Sale!

-- A great way to volunteer with Education And More right here in the U.S. is to host a Guatemalan bazaar at your church or in your home. Selling Fair Trade Guatemalan handcrafts gives double benefits --- both in educating the children and also for the artisan and their family. First, it gives an income to our artisan groups helping them to lift themselves out of poverty and have dignity and pride in doing so. Secondly, all profits that Education And More receives are channeled back to Guatemala to educate children and help the artisan groups that produce the handcrafts.
