Handwoven Fair Trade 100% Cotton Hand Towel

Handwoven kitchen or bath hand towels in rust, olive green and beige. These towel are woven on a foot pedal loom in the mountain villages around Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. The Mayan artisans are following time honored  weaving skills taught by their ancestors.

The towels are 100% cotton and can be  machine washed and dried. In fact, the more they are washed the softer and more absorbent they become.

They measure approximately  18" x 28" and are hemmed on the ends. 

The towel are in a set of 3 in the colors of Rust, Olive Green and Tan.

As always the women artisans receive a fair wage for their laboe and the profits from the sales get  returned to them in the form of improved living conditions, education for their children, improved weaving equipment, and various other benefits.
