Our Guatemalan Program Directors

Hortencia Floridalma Choquaj is the Program Coordinator in Guatemala.  Flory has been working for Education And More for over 4 years and handles our Sponsorship Program and our Christian Outreach Program. She speaks Spanish and Kakchiquel, is learning English, and is an invaluable help to us in our mission in Guatemala. 

 

  

 

 

Jessica Mendez is a Program Coordinator in Guatemala for Education And More. She handles our Fair Trade handcraft program and helps with our Christian Education programs.

 

 

 

 

Statement of Faith

We believe that God divinely inspired scripture, it is completely trustworthy, and is the infallible word of God.

Psalm 119:89 & 151,152; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21

We believe in ONE true everlasting God, eternally existing as three persons; Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:11-12, 1 Corinthians 8:5-6, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16-17 & 26

We believe Christ is the son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross for mankind’s’ sins, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father.

We believe that man is made in the image of God, but because of sin is lost without him.

We believe in salvation of sin by God’s grace through the faith in the atoning work of Christ Jesus alone. Apart from Him there is no salvation.

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to do sanctifying work in us so that our lives may give glory to God.

We strive to glorify God through our works here on earth in order to point people towards His Son, Jesus Christ.
