This handwoven cosmetic bag would be great for traveling and has many uses besides cosmetics. It features leather around the bottom and a beautiful ikat design woven in 100% cotton. The bag is 7 x 6 x 2 so it is small enough to fit in your larger purse but big enough to carry everything you need. The bag is lined and there is a zipper with a leather tab on the top for easy access.
The yarn is dyed by an artisan in Guatemala and then handwoven on a foot pedal loom. It is then sewn into a bag by another artisan group. These artisans work for a fair trade wage and are then able to provide for their families and send their children to school.
