Handwoven Gray and Black Fair Trade Scarf

This scarf is amazingly very soft. It is handwoven on a foot pedal loom by Mayan artisans in the village of San Antonio on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. They are paid a Fair trade wage for their work and the looms are in their homes not a factory. The scarf is made from acrylic yarn in black. grays and white. A great addition to your wardrobe as it can be worn with many other colors.
A widow and her grown daughters are members of the Palopo Weavers who weave these luxuriously soft scarves. Their families lost several family members in mudslides a few years ago and are rebuilding their lives with the sales of these scarves and their other weavings. Your purchases make a big difference in their lives and income. Thank you!
