These purses are sewn by our talented tailor in Guatemala. He frequents the textile markets, buys the used cortes (skirts) and then sews them in his shop attached to his home. With the profits he makes he can help his children and grandchildren attend school. He receives a fair wage for his labor and knows his work is appreciated.
